» An excellent Mother's Day crop or use for spring pots.
» Plant 1 tuber per 6" pot, the crown must be just above the soil.
» Night temperature should be 60-65 degrees F. Once shoots are visible, fertilize twice a week.

Kennemerland is a vibrant yellow Cactus Dahia variety which will really bring the summer sun in to your garden. The large spiky flower heads are truly exceptional and can be planted in a border or in patio pots and containers. The long lasting flowers sit atop tall sturdy stems, making them an ideal subject for cut flowers for the vase and bouquets. Height 80cm and spread 50cm. Flowers June to september. Top grade dahlia tubers supplied.
When to Plant Outdoors:
Plant in spring, after the ground warms to about 50º F.
Easy to grow
1. Dig a hole 3-4" deep.
2. Set the tuberous root firmly in place.
3. Cover the tuberous root with soil and water thoroughly.
Planting instructions: Plant Dahlias in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Supply ample moisture and fertilizer during the growing season. When the plant reaches 1-1/2' in height, trim entire plant to 1'. In about two weeks trim the plant again back to about 1-1/2'. This will encourage your Dahlia to produce an abundance of flowers. Remove all spent flowers.
