Plant in full sun or partial shade. Dahlias have different shapes from the tightly formed flowers of the pompon-types to the looser ones of the cactus-types and the decorative in-between types, they're all terri

About: Impressive flowers that bloom 8" in size. Attracts hummingbirds & butterflies

Tips: Our favorite tip for Dahlias is to pinch the first sprouts when they are 2” above the ground. This will stimulate growth of more sprouts that develop into stems with flowers. Plant when the soil temperature reaches 60°F and danger of frost has passed. Since the flowers are large on dinnerplate dahlias, consider staking the flowers as they grow.
