Mount Tacoma' has stood the test of time, and has remained a firm favourite through the years. Buds begin pink and green, but open out to the most sumptuous creamy white flowers in late spring. The flowers are tough and held aloft by sturdy stems. 11-12cm bulbs supplied.
2–3 1/2" double ivory blooms with strikes of green on the outer petals. This Peony-Flowering (Double Late) type tulip truly resembles a peony. Some stems produce multiple blooms. Mount Tacoma was introduced in the early 20th century. 12 cm+ bulb size.

Plant in direct or partial sunlight. Ideal for planting in patio containers, borders or even as part of cut flower display. Flowers during the spring season between April and May. 11-12cm bulbs supplied.

1. Dig a hole 6” deep.
2. Set the tulip bulb pointy side up in the soil.
3. Cover the bulb with soil and water only if the soil is very dry.
PLANTING TIPS
Planting tulips side by side in a single row makes them look stiff and unnatural. Tulips look best when they are planted in informal groups of 5 or more bulbs. Rectangular, triangular or oval patterns (as shown in the photo at left) will make the planting look as full as possible and ensure the flowers are visible from all angles.
For best results, tulips should be planted in well-drained soil. Peat moss or compost can be added to improve drainage. Tulip bulbs should be planted pointy side up.
