These red Aster flowers are huge and have many petals giving them the appearance of a tiger's paw. Tiger Paw Aster is another name that they are often called. This variety has a strong, upright growth habit and reaches nearly 30 inches in height.
Plan on starting the Aster seeds indoors 6 - 8 weeks before the end of frost season. The flower seeds should be gently pressed into the soil and covered lightly.
