This LIVE STARTER PLANT features Senecio Peregrinus, also known as 'String Of Dolphins'. It's a drought-resistant plant with small, delicate leaves that grow in a unique, waving pattern that resembles a string of dolphins. This tough and hardy plant thrives with minimal maintenance, making it a great choice for busy homes.

This adorable succulent will give you beachy vibes all day long because, true to its name, its leaves resemble a pod of jumping dolphins!

String of dolphins are most commonly grown indoors as houseplants, although they can also be grown outdoors. However, they are not frost-tolerant succulents and require warm weather year-round in order to survive outdoors.

  1. We recommend planting 4-5 starter plants per 10 inch basket. Use a well-drained soil in your baskets and plant your starter plants deep, allowing the elpot to be completely covered by the soil. If you are planting 4" pots, 1 plant per pot should be sufficient. Plant it directly in the middle of your pot.
  2. Best in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep soil moist, watering freely in dry weather. Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly. Trim back as needed to keep neat and compact.
