LATE SEASON

Versatile and flavorful, the Russet Potato, also known as the Idaho Potato, has a dry mealy texture ideal for baking or mashing. Perfect for experimenting in the kitchen during the colder months

Its reliably high yields mature late in the season, and the plants show resistance to scab, black leg and fusarium.

This dependable standard requires heavy feeding and regular moisture for exceptional performance

This tuber, known as Russet Potato, is highly versatile and boasts a rich flavor profile. Its shallow eyes and net-like texture make it a preferred choice for baking. It is well-suited for cultivation in various regions and is primarily grown for its fresh market appeal. With moderate resistance to black spot and strong resistance to growth cracks, second growth, and hollow heart, this variety typically has a storage life of 7-9 months.

Its maturity period ranges from 90-100 days and it can thrive in hardiness zones 3-9. Each pound contains approximately 5-8 seed potatoes, all of which are supplied as certified seed potatoes.

HOW TO GROW: dig a trench that is 6-8 inches deep. Plant each piece of potato (cut side down, with the eyes pointing up) every 12-15 inches, with the rows spaced 3 feet apart. If your space is limited or if you would like to grow only baby potatoes, you can decrease the spacing between plants.
