A wonderful and unique variety. These Romano-type beans grow 6-10" long. The flat, greenish-yellow pods are very tender, cooking quickly. They have a sweet and somewhat starchy flavor. Stringless. Best used fresh or frozen, not canned. The dried beans make delicious soups or baked beans.Excellent sweet flavor. Even when the seeds begin to form the pods are still stringless, tender, and sweet.
