Dinnerplate Dahlia Kelvin Floodlight (2 Bulb/Tuber) Great Cut Flowers,Bloom Summer to fall

Dahlia ‘Kelvin Floodlight’ will brighten any garden with its buttery yellow blossoms!  This sunny dahlia quickly becomes a bold statement in the garden with 8-10″ dinnerplate blooms.

This gorgeous perennial is vigorous and fast growing.  It is heat resistant and makes a superb cut flower.  Your dahlias will bloom the first year, adding a lovely spot of color from midsummer until frost.  They are a welcome addition to the garden late in the season when other flowers are fading.  Dahlias are stunning in the flower border or container garden.

  • Impressive flowers that bloom 8" in size.
  • Attracts hummingbirds & butterflies
  • Big Blooms
  • Perfect for Bouquets
  • Flowers from Summer Through Fall

  • Dahlias are a popular choice of plants bringing bright bold colours to your garden borders in the late summer. This variety is a beautiful, subtly coloured Dinnerplate Dahlia that will create a huge impact in the garden.

Plant in full sun or partial shade. Dahlias have different shapes from the tightly formed flowers of the pompon-types to the looser ones of the cactus-types and the decorative in-between types, they're all terrific!

Tips: Our favorite tip for Dahlias is to pinch the first sprouts when they are 2” above the ground. This will stimulate growth of more sprouts that develop into stems with flowers. Plant when the soil temperature reaches 60°F and danger of frost has passed. Since the flowers are large on dinnerplate dahlias, consider staking the flowers as they grow.
