This spicy green is also known as Rocket or Roquette. It has dark green leaves that add a delicious peppery flavor to salads and are tastiest when harvested as 2-6" long baby greens. The leaves of mature plants can become very spicy and bitter.

Edible Flowers: Harvest the white flowers with dark-pink veins as they appear. Sprinkle them over salads or add to vegetable stir-fries. Flavor is spicy and nutty. Popular choice for brightening up salad mixes. Organically grown. Avg. 15,200 seeds/oz. Packet: 500 seeds.

Planting season: Spring/fall

Herb Planting: Direct sow seeds outside after last frost. Plant seeds just under soil surface, and water.

Cultivation: Prefers cool temperatures. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring or late summer/early fall. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Plant every 3 weeks for continuous harvest. Seed can be densely broadcast
